In the Heart of Fitchburg
The artifacts in this section are related to Fitchburg or events that have happened in Fitchburg. This exhibit will help people get involved with the artifacts as they are all a part of our community. This exhibit is local to Fitchburg State University and to people who live in Fitchburg. Viewers might recognize some of these names or organizations. Looking at disability in a localized area helps us see how disability is viewed and how it has changed through time. We also notice that there is a tremendous amount of disability heritage from just one small area of Massachusetts.
